I recently stayed at The Red Lion and couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of.
Comfortable beds:** The bed in my room was exceptionally comfortable, with crisp linens and a perfect level of firmness. I slept like a log after busy days, waking refreshed and ready to go. Friendly staff:** The team at The Red Lion went above and beyond. Every interaction was warm, professional, and genuine. They were quick to offer helpful recommendations and genuinely seemed to care about my comfort. Cracking breakfast:** Breakfast was a standout. A wide selection of hot and cold options, all delicious and well-presented. The cooked dishes were flavourful and portions were generous, setting me up perfectly for the day.

We stayed here as a friend had recommended it and it was an add on to the 3 days we had spent in Manchester. It was originally a pub that we used to visit when we lived in Bolton. I cannot fault the hotel for food and drink, although understandable I was surprised that last orders was 10.00, perhaps different at weekends 🤔.
The bedroom whilst clean and had everything you needed I felt that I felt it was a little tired. Our bed was comfortable but the mattress creaked dreadfully when sitting on it to get in and out of it.

We had a super overnight stay here when visiting friends in the area. Really friendly and welcoming staff!

We received a warm welcome from the team at The Red Lion. We were booked in for the Wine, Dine and Duvet at £120 which was incredible value as it also included breakfast!
Our room was spotless, very nicely presented and very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Overall the pub interior, the outside area and the dining room were very clean and very well presented decor. The dales are on the doorstep and we were given a map of local walks which was really helpful. A fantastic place to stay, would highly recommended!
